Safety
Using a balance board like Axle Board has risks like many other sports. Use common sense when using your Axle Board. Even experienced athletes can be injured performing common sports activities.
Safety recommendations include the following:
- Wear protective gear when balancing; consider your helmet mandatory.
- Use Axle Board in a safe environment free from items and obstacles that can hurt you if you fall.
- Inspect your Axle Board before each balance session. Check for loose hardware and broken or cracked parts. Do not use your Axle Board if you note any serious damage.
- Closely supervise children and developing users.
- Balance wisely! Do not balance outside of a range that aligns with your growing skills. Balancing too aggressively can lead to a loss of control.
